A few times a year, we step away from the rural bo A few times a year, we step away from the rural boozers and bring our GMs and marketing team together for a day out. It’s part training, part big-picture thinking — a chance to share ideas, challenge ourselves, and talk openly about where we’re heading next. When the work’s done, we make an evening of it. We celebrate the wins from the past six months, enjoy some great food, and raise a glass of wine from our iconic vintners, Gardner & Beedle. We’re fortunate to have such a brilliant group of people. Getting everyone together away from the day-to-day reminds us that we’re building this together. Huge thanks to Cranborne Lodge for having us. X

Chickpea Group was founded in 2019 with a mission to reimagine rural hospitality, and now operates 11 pubs and a pizza shop across the South West. We’re carefully restoring The Great Decoy ahead of a spring opening. Expect seasonal menus alongside pub bangers, local ales and a thoughtfully curated wine list, with plenty of space to pop in for a pint. The iconic @hueymorgan took to the stage to share his journey from marine to rock star, radio DJ and now onto his upcoming solo projects. It was a real blast - a huge thank you to everyone who joined us at the Pembroke Arms and made the night what it was. On 11th March at The Manor House Inn, we’ll be welcoming @ruthcrilly, who will talk us through her brilliant comic memoir ‘How Not to Be a Supermodel’, lifting the lid on her days as an international fashion model. We have a small handful of tickets left on our website. They’re completely free, but pre-booking is essential. X
